Captain Save a... (Save those panties ladies)

So I’m pretty everyone that has a cycle has period panties. You know the panties you have designated to only wear during your menstrual cycle. But what about when your cycle comes and you aren’t prepared. The obvious of course, you get blood on your panties! So what do you do, add that pair to the period panty collection, throw them away, or save them?! Save them!! Immediately treat the stain, do not wait! 

Try some of these tips: 

• Run cold water directly on the blood stain
• Pour a little hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice (this may alter the color of your panties though if they are dark
• Wash the spot with whatever soap you have
• Rub salt with a little cold water or saline solution on the spot
• Make a paste with baking soda and water and let it sit for about 30 minutes
• Buy a blood removal product
